“Raising a child and working from home meant I didn’t sleep for 18 years. My studio is in my home, so I have to be regimented and clearly define what is work time and not. It’s also easy to work late into the evening because the studio is right there. It’s not always clearly defined when to STOP working. With a BFA in Graphic Design, it was the work I sought out. The analytical and physical design skills I learned in school were essential. My work has evolved over the years into different industries, but my design training still comes into play."
