Interpersonal relationships at work are important — even more important than compensation, according to one study. When researchers asked 1,000 workers what kept them from leaving a role, they were 10 times more likely to cite friendships than pay. That doesn’t mean it’s always easy working with people, however, and you might find yourself occasionally getting fed up with your coworkers.
